Flagler County Airport [X47]  The view is looking south.  RW 11/29 is on the bottom with 6/24 on top.  Runway 29 and runway 24 converge on the left.  Runways 2/20 through the center and  15/33 on the right are closed to airplanes, but are used by ultra-lights and helicopters.

Gore Lake is in the upper right and is RW 18/36 for seaplanes.

There is a self-serve 24-hour  fuel site, perfect for evening and mid-night flyers.

The airport is a large non-controlled airfield that is extremely easy to fly in and out of.  Flagler is nestled among several control towered fields [Class D] that is only 12 miles from Ormond Beach and 25 miles from both St. Augustine and Daytona Beach.  The three Class D controlled fields provide very convenient close by locations for communications practice and also instrument practice using all approach procedures.

Other businesses located on the airport are HighJackers Restaurant, Ryan Seaplanes Services, and Enterprise Rental Car Agency.
